Chapter 2
Do you think we should go in here? Lisa asked Tara. They were shopping in some of Englands famous stores. Hmm. You can, Ill stay out here and wait for you. She said. Alright, dont you dare leave me. Lisa said pointing to her friend. I wont. Tara said smiling.
Come on. Will you cheer up Wills? Youre driving me mad with Tara this and Tara that! Michael said. Yeah, Wills. Its been two years, you have a girlfriend, move on with your life! Thomas said shaking Williams shoulders. Williams head hung low. I cant. He said. And why not? Asked Jonathon. Because I love her. William said. What about Suzzy? Asked Michael. We broke up yesterday. He said quietly. What! Why? Thomas asked shocked. She said that since I wouldnt get over Tara when Im supposed be with her, she might as well leave me. William said sadly. But I still want to find Tara. William, William. Will you ever learn. Michael said shaking his head. What? William asked. Dont you see, she doesnt like you, only as a friend. Said Michael. She doesnt even want me as a friend. William said quietly. Then why do you still want her. She doesnt even want you! said Thomas. Its not that she doesnt want me because of me, its because she doesnt like my life style. Its well, to say. Killing. And she knows that Im not supposed to love a catholic, she just doesnt want me to give up the throne. Said William.
Tara tapped her foot becoming inpatient with Lisa. Lisa had already been in the same store for half an hour. Hurry up, hurry up. Tara kept repeating quietly. Lisa! She quietly yelled to herself.
When William turned around so he wouldnt have to face his friends he saw the exact same red-brown hair that he saw two years ago. Tara? William asked himself quietly. He crossed the street, ignoring his mates calls and walked up to the person with the red-brown hair that was standing next to a clothing store looking impatient. William tapped her on the shoulder. Is that you Tara? He asked. Tara turned around and her mouth dropped. What are you doing here, William? Tara asked shocked. William was so happy that he found Tara that he picked her up and hugged her without even answering her question.
Tara missed him a lot, the way he smiled, they way they had fun together, and the way he hugged, but she knew that if she didnt want to be in his life she would have to resist. When he put her down she started to walk away, but William grabbed her arm. Why are you doing this? William asked Tara. You know why, William. Now let me go. Tara said turning around and walking away. William still hadnt let her go so she didnt get too far. William, dont do this. Tara told him, looking down. Tara, please dont leave me like you did two years ago. Begged William. He hugged her really close again. He buried his face in her shoulder wishing that he wouldnt have to let her go. Ive missed you too much to let you go again. He said. Im sorry William, but Im going. Tara pushed William off her and walked away in the direction of a bunch of schoolgirls. She knew that William wouldnt follow her because of the girls so she stayed amongst them until he left.
