� Did you say summer?� Asked the King. � No, she didn�t father, she said� She said� Um�� Christian tried to cover up, but got nowhere. � You�re from Earth, now aren�t you?� The King asked forcedly. The King didn�t wait long enough for her to answer because he called his Guards. �Guards! Kill them!� He yelled as the men ran into the room.
Christian grabbed Stacie�s hand and pulled her through the halls of the castle. They ran as fast as they could with the castle guards chasing after them. When they reached the backdoor of the building they ran into the snowy night. Outside was a horrid blizzard, you could barely see in front of your face. Just as they were about to turn a corner one of the guards fired a shot.
Stacy had turned the corner and was now behind the wall waiting for Christian to arrive, but when he didn�t she went back. She found him lying on the ground with his hand over his side. She raced up to him before the guards had caught up. She helped him lift himself up and they continued to run. |
