are held during the day and open to moms and each of their children.

Playgroups |
|
|
|
Many lasting friendships have been made through playgroups. They are a fantastic way for you and your child to interact with other moms and children on a sociable level. Each playgroup meets twice a month at a member's home, park or other fun place. Although they are divided by age group, your choice should ultimately be based upon your child's development. As with any MOMS Club event, all of your children are welcome (for example: A 7-year old child who is out of school for the summer, is welcome to attend his/her younger sibling's playgroup).
MOMS Club of Pensacola-NE currently has the following playgroups:
Babies (Birth to Walking)
Walkers (Walking -24 months)
Little Tots (Ages 24-36 months)
Big Tots (Ages 3-5 years)
Multi-Age (open to all members; mixed ages) |

Monthly Activities |

|
In addition to playgroups, our monthly calendar is FULL of other activities. The entire membership is invited to participate in any monthly activitiy. It's a great way to meet all the other moms outside of your child(ren)'s playgroup(s). These special activities occur at least once per month and include some of the following events:

Park Day
Field Trips & Outings (i.e. NAS museum, Chuck E. Cheese, Sam's Fun City, Barnes & Noble storytime, T.T. Wentworth museum, etc.) |

Monthly Meetings |
|
|
|
MOMS Club of Pensacola-NE meets once/monthly throughout the year. Our monthly meetings provide our membership the opportunity to discuss projects and issues related to our chapter. We often invite guest speakers to come and address our group regarding parenting issues. Some recent topics include: Pediatric Dental Health, Tips from a Professional Organizer, Programs for Foster Children in our community, Water Safety, Humane Society of Pensacola, Florida Panhandle gardening tips, and many more.
There is a Children's Room for those wishing to utilize it. It is manned by at least 2 volunteer members and includes toys and books to keep the children entertained during the meeting. Use of the Children's Room is NOT mandatory, but we invite you to take advantage so that you can enjoy our monthly meetings! |

MOMS Night Out |
|
|
|
Once a month, we invite our moms to get out and re-energize! Although going out to a local restaurant for a nice, hot uninterupted dinner seems to be the preference, we find lots of activities to entertain ourselves. Some past MOMS Night Outs include movies, game nights, cookie swaps, bowling, scrapbooking, '80s night, celebrating our wedding memories, and LOTS more! |

The MOMS Club is a great place to find friends with common interests too! We form new groups to help promote hobbies and interests when the opportunity arises. Scrapbooking, reading, cooking and exercise are a few popular topics! |

Service Projects |
|
|
|
Each year, we organize multiple service projects to give back to our community. These projects benefit local children in need and the Mother-to-Mother Fund which assists MOMS Club members in need across the country. A few of our past projects include donation drives for local charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Manna Food Bank, handing out Halloween candy at the Sacred Heart pediatric wing, handing out Valentine's to residents in a senior care facility, and many more. |
