Park Day/Indoor Playspace: During the summer months, we meet weekly at various local playgrounds and in the winter we have an indoor playspace we attend weekly as well.
Monthly Chapter Meetings: During these meetings we welcome new members and visiting moms, vote on issues pertaining to our group, have a fun activity or an interesting guest speaker.
Moms Night Out: Once a month we have a little night out when Dad or Grandma can babysit! Past activities have included a movie night, dinner night, scrapbooking class, and a literary discussion at a local bookstore.
Book Group: Once a month our book group meets to discuss the recent selection and choose a book for the upcoming month.
Lunch Group: Once a month the Lunch Group meets for lunch at local kid friendly restaurants.
Meals for Moms: When one of our members has a baby, our members coordinate to bring dinners to the members' home every night for a week.
Special Outings: We have a special outing at least once a month. Past outings have included the Museum of Science, Fire Station Tour, Franklin Park Zoo, Boston Children's Museum, New England Aquarium, Craft time at local toy store, Group tour of MSPCA (Boston Area animal shelter).
Service Projects: Our group participates in projects that benefit children in need as well as others in need in our community. Past service projects have included a baby shower drive for Welcome Baby, collecting Cambell's labels and General Mills Boxtops for an area school, collection of canned goods for local food pantries, bowling for Cradles to Crayons and the "adoption" of holiday tree angels with the Salvation Army.
