Business Meetings
Join Us!
Each month, all members are invited to participate in the business meeting.  The meetings feature exciting guest speakers that discuss topics that are important to you and your children.  Members discuss and vote on business items that are critical to the club.
Activities
The club offers a monthly calendar of activities for kids and moms of all ages.  Some things in the past and upcoming are:
   
   
Storytime at Modesto Library.
     Lunch and Animal Exploration at Resendiz Fruit Barn.
     A day at the fair at Stanislaus County Fair.
     Bumper Bowling at McHenry Bowl (bowling alley).
     Pet Barn (local pet store) tour and Q&A Session.
     Road trip to Children's Museum of Stockton.
     Zoo visit and lunch at Micke Grove Park in Lodi.
     Visit and Q&A Session at Hischier Nursery.
     Visit to pumpkin patches in the local vicinity.
     Pottery creation at the Mud Room.
     Oakdale Cheese Factory Tour .
     Great Valley Museum - "Your Backyard" Tour.
     My Gym  Children's Fitness Center (a local children's gym) Class/ Tour.
     Trip to Bloomingcamp Ranch in Oakdale.
     Host an Hour - various topics and things to do.
     Preschool Hour.
     Collective Wisdom Hours - discussions about various topics.
     Moms Night Out - Pool Party, visit to Mud Room and dinner later, etc.
Playgroups
All members are welcome to join a playgroup.  The playgroups are divided by age and each group is coordinated by a volunteer member.  Playgroups get together at least twice a month.

Help When You Need It
The Sunshine Committee coordinates meal delivery and other support for members' families in a time of need; delivery of a new baby or an illness in the family, for example.  Additionally, the club has a Mother-to-Mother Fund, supported by member donations, to help families in times of crises.
Newsletter
All members receive a monthly newsletter that features the Activities Calendar, a letter from the Board, member photos and profiles and interesting articles.  The newsletter is written and published by volunteer members of the Communications Committee.
Community Service
The club coordinates volunteer events and fundraisers that benefit local charities.  A key objective of the chapter is to support the local community.

Some things done in the past are
  
     Kids' Fashion Show at The Stratford Retirement Home, a local senior citizens home. 
     1st & 2nd Annual Holloween Fashion Parade at The Stratford Retirement Home.
     Members donated various items (toiletries, clothes, stationary, food, books, etc.) at each
       Business Meeting.  These items were taken to the Children's Crisis Center. 
     After holding fundraisers throughout the year, $200 was donated to the Children's Crisis
       Center.
