12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups mini marshmallows
Place pecans in bottom of wide mouth quart canning jar. Place chocolate chips in next. Press down firmly.
Fill jar with mini marshmallows, pressing them down VERY firmly to make them all fit.
Decorate jar lid, if desired.
Attach the following recipe for the recipient.
Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray, set aside.
Empty contents of jar into a very large bowl.
Add 1 stick butter, cut into pieces.
Place 3 cups sugar into a very large, deep microwavable dish. Stir in a 5 oz can evaporated milk. Stir until well mixed. Cover with plastic wrap, leave a corner open for ventilation. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir well, recover. Cook on high 1 minute at a time until it comes to a boil, allow to boil 1 minute.
Pour hot mixture into marshmallow mixture. Stir rapidly for 2 minutes to melt marshmallows. Pour into greased pan to cool. Chill up to 4 hours to set firmly. Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
