Bring Your Children!
We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so you may bring your children with you to anything we do.
At our General Meetings, we may have volunteer members watching our children so that you may enjoy the meeting. This is optional, so if your kids want to stay with you, that is fine too! Babies are always welcome to stay with their mothers, and you may nurse at our meetings. We're all mothers here and many of us nursed our own children. If your baby becomes fussy, please be considerate of any speakers and move into the children's room until your child has quieted. At our other activities, children are always welcome. After all, it's because of them that we're all together!
Dues
Our dues are $25 a year. Our dues pay for our room rentals, supplies and newsletters. You may attend two meetings such as a monthly meeting and a park day (playgroups and activity groups are for members only) before you decide to become a member. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our officers.
Welcome Newcomers!
Come visit our next meeting! Guests are always welcome to attend up to two monthly meetings or one monthly meeting and a park day before they decide to become a member. Our chapter is always happy to welcome new members. You probably won't be the only new person there! Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, many of us are new in town or new to motherhood! We all have one thing in common — the MOMS ClubŪ introduced us to other moms who stay at home... the ones who soon became our friends.
