| Church Road Park Located off 73 in Skippack at Church Road. If coming from 113, turn east on 73 toward Skippack Village, turn left on Church Road, the park is on the right side, across from Trinity Church. No Bathrooms. Collegeville Playground This Park is near the WaWa in Collegeville. If driving toward Collegeville on route 29, follow all the way to the intersection at Main Street/Ridge Pike. Turn right on Ridge go to the light and turn left on 3rd and a right on Park. The park is on the Right side. They have summer concerts here as well. David Meyers Park is located on Route 29 between Route 113 and Graterford.� Best landmark is that it is next to the Perkiomen firehouse and Perkiomen Valley High School. Bathroom facilities in summer time, otherwise in township building. There is a large pavilion for a picnic lunch. Elmwood Zoo Take Stump Hall road to 363, Cross over 363 and road becomes township line. Take township line to Swede Rd. Follow Swede Rd to Johnson Highway; Make a right onto Johnson�s Highway follow maroon directional signs to the Zoo from this point.�Aprox. A 30 minute drive. 1661 Harding Boulevard, Norristown.�610-277-3825 Fee. Inside large playground as well. Fischer Park Take Skippack Pike (Rt 73) to Bustard Road, Make a left and the Park is about a 1 mile on the left. Foy Park (located near Spring Mountain Skiing) Drive into Schwenksville on 29 north. Make a right at Spring Mountain Road (Moccia�s Train Stop Pizza) is on right side. Continue past St. Mary�s Church; make a right at the end of this road at the stop sign. Park is immediately on the left. Port o potty available. Little Kid bike path. Playground has wood chips under equipment. It is connected to the Perkiomen Trail for a great walk as well. Green Lane Park Located on Route 29. Drive North on Route 29 thru Schwenksville. Keep to the right at the Y in the road. Continue about 10 minutes. You will see an entrance for Green Lane Park on the right hand side. Hebner Park Located on Route 363 behind the Worcester Township Building.� Take 73 East. Make Right on 363,�Approximately 1 mile on the right look for Sign for Hebner Park.� Playground sits back, so you can't see it from the main road.� It's a very easy park to watch the kids.� Great equipment, no swings. Coble Park Take 29 North above Schwenksville, at the Y in the road stay right. The park is on the left at Little Road, it is across from the John Deere dealer is located. There is a small bathroom. This park has a small walking or biking trail. The playground has rubber �chips� under the equipment and a pavilion for lunch. Manderach Park located off Swamp Pike in Limerick. Take Main St. from Collegeville towards Limerick and make a right at the Limerick Dinner onto Swamp Pike. Then make a right onto Ziegler Rd. (which is right after the Waltz Turf Farm). Follow the road back to the park. Picnic and bathroom facilities are available here. Great paved walking and biking trail. Palmer Park From Skippack Pike/73 turn on 113 toward Collegeville. Take 113 to Creamery Rd (road has sharp turns).�Playground entrance is the 2nd entrance on the right (approx. 1 mile). Pavillion/Port-o-pot. Bike/Walking Trail. Tennis and Basketball Courts. Parkside Park or the �Castle Playground� The playground is located in Upper Gwynned across from the police station and next to Nor-Gwyn pool.� Take Summneytown pike East towards North Wales; it's on the right side.....you'll see the sign it is across from Merck. Plank Road Park or Upper Perkiomen Park located on Plank road between Route 29 and Route 73. Take 73 toward Schwenskville, turn Left at the light on Plank Road, the Park is on the left side. Bathroom facilities all year. Located along the Perkiomen Trail. Upper Salford Park Take 29 thru Schwenksville. Turn right on Schwenksville Road.(at Ortino�s). Follow on this winding road. Road will bear to the left, and to the left again, stay on the left. Turn left onto Salford Station Road, park is on the left. Port-o-potty available year-round, and full bathrooms in spring & summer. Great walking trail, frog pond, soccer and baseball fields, large Sandbox, climbing equipment and swings. Upper Schuylkill Park Take Rt 113 toward Phoenixville. There are picnic tables down by the river and then there is a bunch of different kinds of animals - a bear, wolves, chickens, fox, rabbits, donkeys, goats, pigs, etc. |
