| This site is moving! Check out updated information at: www.sites.google.com/site/olatheeastmomsclub MOMS Club� was founded by Mary James in 1983. She was a stay-at-home mom wanting to meet other stay-at-home moms with infants and preschoolers. MOMS Club became an international non-profit organization with new chapters forming all the time. Our chapter was founded in November of 1999 by Trena. There are currently over 40 members in our chapter with new members joining every month. Due to the large number of moms in the area being interested in MOMS Club, we have sistered two chapters in our short time of existence. Surrounding communities have also started MOMS Club chapters following Trena's lead. We are a diverse group of moms. There are experienced moms as well as first-time moms, moms that work part-time as well as moms that have home-based businesses. We like to have fun and offer a variety of activities to attend every month. Please check out our calendar as well as our activites pages for more information. Don't be a stay-at-home mom who stays at home! Come out and meet other stay-at-home moms. It's nice to have someone to talk to while your children play! We have our monthly business meetings the third Monday of every month. Our annual dues are $25, which covers supplies, national dues, postage, etc. Once you join, you will receive a monthly newsletter with a calendar of upcoming events. Our chapter is run by volunteer moms. Having more moms contribute to the calendar of events helps us in getting a lot of different ideas on the calendar as well as making it easy for more moms to get involved. Many of the coordinators need to organize (find an RSVP person, a time and a place) for just 6 activities a year. We've spread the work out so all of us can have more FUN! |
