If you are looking for a supportive network of other moms, or a playgroup for your son or daughter, join the MOMS Club of Ellicott City-Central, MD. The MOMS Club is an international, non-profit organization of moms giving other moms support.
We are made up of moms like you. Most of us are at-home mothers, though some of us work part-time. Either way, we are all looking for
the same thing: friendship, understanding and social interaction for ourselves and our children. We meet during the day, when at-home mothers need the most support. Children are invited to all events.
Membership is only $25 per year.

There are three Ellicott City MOMS Club chapters. Our boundaries are: the areas west of New Cut Road, 104 and 108, but south of Rt. 40 (generally the 21042 and 21043 zip codes). We'll help you figure out which club serves your area. |

* Participate in a playgroup so your children learn social interaction skills. Most groups meet weekly, atlernating at members' houses. You'll be matched up with moms whose children are similar in age to yours.
* Participate in self-interest groups including the Cooking Club, Kids' Book and Craft Club, Walking Club, Babysitting Co-Op, and more!
* Attend our various outings to local parks, gyms, the fire station, petting zoo and museums, as well as member-hosted events at members' homes featuring backyard pool parties, cookie decorating and seasonal crafts.
* Receive our monthly newsletter packed with parenting tips, the outings schedule and more.
* Support the community through toy drives, school supply donations, sponsoring familes in needs, as well as the Howard County Domestic Violence Center.
* Benefit from the Sunshine Club, which provides member-made free meals to other members with newborns or those simply in need of a helping hand.
* Learn from community experts at our monthly member meetings. Bring your children who can play with friends or make a craft while moms listen to advice on topics ranging from healthcare and marriage to finance and organization skills, and more.
* Post questions on our list-serv and receive advice from fellow members about any topic. Examples include tips on nursing and managing the terrible twos, to recommendations on home/beauty related services, great pediatricians, where to have a family-friendly meal out. |
