We hold our business meetings for the MOMS Club - West, WI on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and for the MOMS Club - East, WI on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Our meetings are open to all members and guests who wish to "check us out" and, of course, our children are always welcome. Prospective members may attend 2 business meetings or 1 business meeting and 1 park day prior to joining. In addition to discussing MOMS Club business at our meetings, we also have occasional speakers, discussion groups, craft projects, and holiday parties. Activities At least two activities are planned each month for moms to get out with their children. Activities vary and offer our children the opportunity to learn, get exercise, and just have fun. See the list below for examples of activities our club has participated in the past. Parks & State Parks Dairy Farms Clay Shops Gymnastic Facilities Children's Museum Fun World Sleigh Ride Hay Ride Chuck E Cheese Domes Bowling Alley Tour Grocery Store Tour Fire Stations Apple Orchards Pumpkin Farm Zoo Water Parks Pools Beaches Playlands From May through September, we also have weekly park outings. Groups Our club offers something for everyone! The following are the sub groups our club offers to support our members. Particiaption is optional. Feel free to join as few or as many as you would like! Book Club We meet monthly to discuss various books. Members take turns picking books and facilitating the discussion. Fare Share Get together and share recipes over the lunch hour. Meets every 6 weeks and prepares food for the �theme� (i.e. picnic, pasta, Mexican, etc). Golfing club Meets 2x/month. Moms are paired up and one mom golfs while the other watches the kids. Hoot and Howl Husbands out of town and Husbands out working late. Moms can get together in the late afternoon/evenings with the kids for dinner and/or playtime. Breakfast club Meets once/month. 2 moms stay behind to watch the kids while the others go out for breakfast. Playgroups Under one club Great for first time moms or moms with an older child at preschool. Sunshine Club Mom�s morning out Matched up with another mom and take turns having a morning out while the other watches the kids. Mother-to-Mother Fund� Funds available to moms who would have a disaster to their homes or families |
