Sample Activities

Kids are always welcome.

MOMS Club Monthly Business Meeting - We meet once a month to discuss club business such upcoming events, service projects, etc., as well as listen to speakers and chat with visitors.

Book Club - We meet every other month, giving busy moms a chance to finish reading the selected book. Each member takes a turn selecting a book and hosting.

Cooking - The host chooses the format, so each meeting is different. Past meetings include members arriving with a dish based on a theme and copies of the recipes or the host preparing ingredients for members to assemble the meal so they leave with dinner to go.

Craft day - Members gather to make crafts. Anything goes!

Designing Divas - Members gather at each others homes to offfer decorating solutions and ideas to each other.

Family outings - We have a committee in place to organize quarterly family outings.

Field trips - We have gone to a nearby working ranch where the kids got to ride horses, feed cows, and ride a train. We also go to local inside play areas, the zoo, etc. New field trips are planned regularly.

Gardening Gurus - We gather to share tips, tricks, and even plants.

MOMS Mixer - A play date where you'll get the opportunity to talk to moms while your kids play.

MOMS Night Out - One night a month to enjoy dinner out, gather for a spa night, or whatever the host cooks up.

Mystery MOMS - Members are secretly supported by another member through cards and gifts for a short period of time.

Park day - We are fortunate to be blessed with great nearby parks and plenty of sunny days.

Playgroups - There are several playgroups for different age ranges. Members can contact our playgroup coordinator to find the group appropriate for you and your child(ren).

Scrapbooking/stamping - Members get together to scrapbook their ppictures or create other items such as cards, paper, etc.

Sewing - The host chooses a project and provides a supplies list. Projects are kept simple so you do not have to be an expert to participate.

Sprinkler day - Nothing better on a hot Texas day than cooling off with sprinkler toys.

Yarn Crafters - We knit, crochet, and socialize. Members can begin attending at any time and learn from our experienced members.
