| Park Days During warm weather we schedule park days several times a month to give our kids a chance to get outside and play. Weather permitting, we often meet at a beach and in the winter we meet at the indoor play gyms in the area. Recipe Exchange Each month members meet to exchange a different type of recipe featured that month. Typically, the hostess has a sample of her recipe to share with those attending the exchange. It is a great way to gather new recipes and share some of your favorites! Craft Day Members can sign up to host a craft day in their home or an alternative location such as a park. The crafts are planned specifically for preschool-aged children and younger; some crafts of course require a little bit of moms help too! This is a great activity for those children who love to be creative! MOMS Night Out/In One evening a month there is a night planned just for us moms to relax and enjoy themselves. It is divided throughout the year of planning activities out in the community or at another members house. It is always a fantastic way to get to know other members in the club and what their interests are. Some of the evenings in the past included game night, a night with a professional interior designer, painted pottery and bowling. Children of course are welcome if need be. All Member Coffee This is our club's most popular event! Monthly, a member hosts this activity in her home. It is a morning dedicated to welcoming, meeting and socializing with our new/newer members and catching up with each other. The children love this time to play with all the other kids. Caring MOMS This group of moms volunteer to create a supply of ready food for mothers who have just experienced the exciting and hectic time of having a new baby, or a hospitalization, bed rest or for any other time when help is needed. Book Club We currently have a group of moms reading a great book monthly then getting together to discuss it. If you like to read a variety of literature, then this is the club for you. Field Trips We regularly take field trips to attractions that benefit children such as the zoos, The Children's Museum, berry picking, apple orchards, Lego Land and much more. |
| Activities The MOMS Club of Burnsville offers many activites and services for our members. Our goal is to provide a variety of programs to meet the needs and interests of all our members.
