We made quite a procession around the lake Our President, Susan Hooker, receiving a certificate of appreciation from Haven Hills Our thanks to Leslie for organizing the Stroller Walk!

How satisfying to be able to help out moms and kids in need and have fun while doing it. The clouds broke up and what started out as a dreary, rainy day turned into an outstanding one. We stopped to feed the ducks, then strolled around beautiful Balboa Lake. After the walk, the kids enjoyed arts and crafts and face painting while the adults prepared a picnic. Leslie did a great job organizing this event and it was fitting that she won a gift certificate to the Nails Studio Beauty Salon in our raffle for all her hard work. Thank you Jennifer M, Danielle B and Leslie S for arranging donations. Moms, please support our sponsors with your business. Thanks to all the moms that donated to this worthy cause. In a time when we are focused on tragedies elsewhere, Haven Hills appreciates both our generous donations and the time we spent to increase awareness of violence occurring locally.
