The tour comes to an end |

As we walked up to the control room, Vincent asked if we were tired. I laughed and said I had no sleep, and felt like I did the day after the election. He told us he had been gripped to the television. Wasn't it unbelievable. He actually had called NBC, and then wound up talking on WABC radio station about how enraged he was with the stations doing projections. He spoke of the whole presidential election alot during our day with him. He was quite educated on the whole topic, and was very empassioned. |

We talked for a while in the control room about editing scenes. He also told us Avalon had gotten him a Palm Pilot for his birthday so he was attempting to organize his life. Details about our day were in the Palm Pilot. We then walked over to the set of THE VIEW. They were not taping the day we were there. I think this was truly another one of my highlights, since I just love to see 5 intelligent women dishing around a table. I complained to Vincent that I had requested for tickets several times, and had never gotten any. |

He told us that the set of THE VIEW used to be the set of THE CITY. Val spoke of this with him, but I was just in awe to be sitting where Meredith sits. After this we also got to walk around the executive offices, where he introduced 2 production assistants?? what ever he called them was the wrong title LOL. Jean Dedario Burke was not in her office. We waved hello to one of the producers, Lisa Conner. The Emmy's were also in cases in the reception area here. At this time we then proceeded back up to the dressing room area. |

Vincent first walked by the hair/makeup room to see if anyone was in there (since it was now lunch break) He said that some are sensitive to being seen without hair or makeup. Susan Lucci was in the room, so we were not allowed to go in. She actually has her own personal hair guy. We did get to peek and see Kelly Ripa (Hayley), Susan Lucci, and Myrtle all sitting in chairs getting "made over" They all looked beautiful from my stand point. We then walked around the halls, to find John Callahan coming out of his room. NOW - this was our next comedy of errors. He agreed to have his picture taken with us, so Val and I both walked to the same side, then both moved to the other side. I was laughing, and somehow wound up behind him, he had his arms up and Val and I were like two people revolving around a turnstile. I said I was gonna goose him (Lord I must have really been at ease LOL), and he then elbowed me in a very sensitive area. What a hoot!!! |

As we walked away, I said I saw that his wife was getting married next week on Third Watch. He said YEAHH but that young hottie (Eddie Cibrian - oh just thinking of those dimples) was gonna give her troubles. He said he wished she was here at AMC, but she was very happy. We then walked around, and as we turned up another hall, Vincent peeked in Michael Nader's room, who was sitting in a chair talking on his cellphone. He was not too keen on getting his picture taken, but Vincent managed to grab him as he went out for his lunch. We walked past the hair and makeup room again but it appeared as though we were not going to get to meet Susan Lucci. We also took a real quick peek at the wardrobe room, and then hung out in the hall at a window overlooking the river and the parking lot, which Vincent said was a very cold walk on some days. |
