The tour ends and then THE walk
We actually stood talking at this window for quite a while.  I asked how many drove to work and he said it was about 50/50.  He said that when he lived at E. 59th & Columbus he would walk through Lincoln Center, unless he was late, then he would take a cab.  I had to ask about what car he drives since my husband is a race car instructor.  He drives a 1994 Toyota Camry with 54,000 miles.  He was most proud that this was paid off.  His other vehicle is a Limited Edition Ford Explorer.  His car was actually in the shop this day getting routine maintenance, so he had taken the bus into the city, which he picks up on his corner right at his house.  He said he was thinking of getting a new vehicle possibly next year.  When he was in Myrtle Beach, they had rented a Mercedes-Benz E300 which he absolutely loved, it felt solid, but he sort of would like something a little more sporty like a BMW or maybe an Audi A6.  His commute is about 1/2 hour on a good day and 1 1/2 hours on a bad day.    As we stood here looking out over the river he also pointed out at a construction site, that this was where David Blaine was "Buried Alive"  He had taken his daughters to go see him, and his daughter said (he imitated her voice) "Daddy why he do that, he dead"   He also told us the story behind the 3 Trump towers that were right there.  I also asked him why David, a world renown cardiologist had the cheapest stethoscope, and not a cardiology special.  He said because they are $300 and that it was not worth it for the .000365% of people who knew.  He also spoke of the movie Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood, how a few marines were upset with the hats in the movie.
We then saw Marj Dusay coming down the hall.  She is just too funny!! I love her.  She insisted upon leaving her sunglasses on, still had a cup of coffee and muffin in her hand.  She asked where we were from and how we met.  When we mentioned the internet, she said she was still trying to "get with the program" related to the internet.
As we spoke to Vincent in this hall we also had an illustrious meeting with Walt Willey.  I peered down the hall, to see a man coming out of the shower with a pair of sweats on, and a towel wrapped around his neck, hair slicked back wet.  It took 2 seconds to realize who it was.  Vincent actually had the GAUL to ask him if he could take his picture to which he said, NO not while I am 1/2 naked.  I so don't blame him.

The other rooms I remember were Mark Consuelos had a subway station sign from Yankee Stadium on his door, with a newspaper picture from the series.   He also had his 2 SOD? awards sitting on his desk.   Cady had a sign that said "NO STRESS".   We then walked back to the dressing room to gather things for our lunch.  I put my coat on and gathered my things.  As we walked out the door, I bopped him with my bag, which then made Val bop into me, to which he then said we were like the Keystone Cops or something LOL.  Poor guy! the number of times we tripped or bumped into him.  He may be fearful to do another tour!
As we walked out the door, we happend to catch David Canary walking in.  He apologized for being a little "sniffly" but he had just come in from outside.  He seemed like a very gentle sweet man.  Vincent spoke to him about Thaddeus, his voice instructor, since he had just had a lesson this morning before giving us the tour.

We then continued out the door, and Vincent realized Valerie did not have her things, so we needed to go back to his dressing room to gather her things.

We set out for a brisk walk over to the restaurant for lunch.   He said he had had his voice lesson this morning, and I brought up how excited Leslie was to have her lesson.  I had no idea that David Canary had also had lessons and sang.  I told him rumor was that he was teaching Julia Barr, he laughed and said he had just given her Thaddeus' name and number.
