Arches National Park, UT

This photograph was taken on the Delicate Arch Viewpoint trail in Arches National Park. On this winter day, the whole park was filled with a thick fog and Delicate Arch was hardly visible. Just on the other side of the trail, though, I saw this dramatic tree covered in snow and peering through the fog. Although this picture is actually a color photograph, the combination of fog and snow gives it a feel of a black and white world.
