Canyonlands National Park, UT

This photograph was taken in the "Island in the Sky" district of Canyonlands National Park, UT. On this day, the canyon was filled with fog and you can see where it gets its name. You really feel like you are on an island floating in the middle of the sky. The red rock spires seem to appear out of nowhere and provide a stunning contrast to the snow covered La Salle mountains in the background.
