Chapter 20
Adrea was about to say something but couldn�t get it out of her mouth. The second she started to open her mouth JC�s lips over took hers in a soft passionate kiss.
She didn�t want to kiss him, what if her daughter found where they were and walked in. She tried to pull away, only to make him pull her closer to him and hold on to her tighter.
�JC you have to stop.� Adrea got out when his lips left hers and went to her neck.
�I don�t want to.� He said running his hand down her back around to her stomach and slowly went under her shirt.
�You have to stop.� Adrea said pushing away from him. He didn�t let her little push hurt. He grabbed on to her holding her tighter.
�I�m sorry I acted like a jerk. I really am. I just was up set. You know how I got when Justin and Sarah hung out to much.� JC said trying to explain himself more.
Adrea knew how he was. She wanted to forgive him she just didn�t know how.
�You were a bastard to me. You treated me so badly. No one has ever treated me that badly in my whole life time.� Adrea said wanting more then ever to forget about the out side world for a few hours.
�Hate me if you want to. Never talk to me again. I am so sorry that I pushed you away and treated you like scum. I was up set. I cared about you so much and you never mention a word about her.� JC said, �I care about you and her so much. When you left with out saying bye in Kansas. I was hurt; you didn�t even try to say bye to me. And you took Hailee she started to grow on me.� JC said pressing his forehead against Adrea�s
Adrea never wanted to leave him. He was a jerk; there was no doubt about that. He did care, you could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes.
�I don�t think I could go forever with out talking to you.� Adrea said as JC pulled her closer to him into a tight hug.
�I love you.� He whispered into her ear.
Adrea looked up and was about to say something when sure enough the door flew open.
�See Justin, I told you they walked in here.� Hailee�s loud voice laughed from the doorway
Adrea turned around and looked at her daughter then at Justin. She could tell Justin knew they had walked in the middle of something. Hailee didn�t have a clue.
�That isn�t far. Let�s go find Sarah.� Justin said turning around.
�Why, do you like her?� Hailee asked turning with Justin as he started to close the door.
�She is a good friend of mine.� Justin said as the door clicked.
Adrea turned and looked at JC, he was looking down at the ground. Thinking, maybe he shouldn�t have told her that he loved her. Adrea was shocked she didn�t think he felt that way. She again was going to say something when the door opened up again.
Adrea turned around and seen the back of a guys head and heard Sarah�s voice. She knew that hair from anywhere and right now, with what JC laid down, she couldn�t for the life of her remember who it was. She looked at JC. He was now looking at the ground again, thinking maybe what Adrea was going to say was she didn�t care for him like that. Adrea was snapped out of her thinking when she heard that guy talk.
�I�m not joking I totally thought you and Justin were dating.� He said with a slight laugh.
If Adrea was blind she could tell you who belonged to that laugh and that voice. She knew it most of her life.
Trevor
What was he doing here? Why was he walking into a darker room with Sarah? Maybe she was showing him around and they got lost. Went into the wrong room. Why did she all the sudden care who Trevor was seen with.
Adrea took a deep breath; her mind was getting cluttered with thoughts. She needed to get her thoughts in order. She needed to tell JC something anything. At that point she wasn�t even thinking very clearly.
Adrea leaned up and kissed JC hard on the lips.
She wasn�t known from kissing around other people. She just couldn�t flat out tell JC she loved him when someone was in the room besides them. Sure she could later, just not the first time.
All talking seemed to stop. Trevor was in a middle of a laugh when he all the sudden stopped laughing. He was watching his best friend kissing another guy. Something he never wanted to see. Not because they were best friends, because he had always dreamed she would do that to him.
Sarah felt weird standing in that room watching what was happening in front of her eyes. She grabbed Trevor�s hand and he looked down at her. It brought him back to reality; he would never get Adrea. Sarah pulled him towards the door and closed it with a small click.
JC pulled away from Adrea and looked down into her eyes. His whole body was trembling, as was Adrea�s.
JC was going to speak up but Adrea cut him off before he could say anything to ruin what she had to say.
�It�ll take a little time for me to forgive you for being a jerk to me.� She started, she was going to keep going but JC started to talk.
�I wasn�t lying when I told you that I loved you.� He started, �I�m not sure when I knew I did. I think it was the day you left. I felt like my heart was pulled out and stomped on�� JC started but Adrea cut him off.
�Let�s get out of here, before someone else walks in. I don�t want some press sneaking back stage, I don�t feel like making up a lie as to why we were in a room alone with the lights out.� Adrea half smiled as she started to the door.
