Chapter 21
The Concert had started most of the sound you could hear back stage was crew members yelling making sure they were at the right spot at the right time. You could hear the girls screaming for their favorite member of *NSYNC.
Adrea was standing, leaning up against a wall. Hailee was sitting in a chair; her legs were bouncing up and down. She was watching Justin the whole time. She had a little crush on him, nothing Adrea was too worried about.
Adrea watched as Sarah walked by talking with Trevor. He was laughing and touching her lower back wit his left hand. Adrea felt a little jealous. She didn�t know why she felt it but it was there. Every time they walked by her.
�Mommy, look what Justin is doing. Why is he on the ground like that!� Hailee asked pointing to Justin. They were in the middle of �POP�.
�It�s part of their dancing.� Adrea said looking back to the stage.
�You can�t dance laying on the floor though, Mom.� Hailee said
�It is how NSYNC dances. It is just for two songs, don�t worry about it.� Adrea said. Her mind wasn�t on the concert; she didn�t want to answer questions about their dance moves.
Hailee had seen them before at other concerts. All Adrea could think about was JC saying, �I love you,� to her in the room.
Adrea was snapped out of her thoughts when Hailee kept saying �mom� over and over again.
�What is it Hailee?� Adrea asked looking at her daughter. She was standing on the chair.
Hailee pulled Adrea closer to her by her sleeve.
�I love you mom.� Hailee smiled giving Adrea a tight hug.
�I love you too sweetie.� Adrea said as a stage manager came running up to her and Hailee.
�I need you, her and Sarah� Where is Sarah at?� The guy asked
�She went walking towards the dressing rooms.� Adrea said pointing towards the rooms.
�Here put this on. Don�t be afraid.� He said running off towards the dressing room areas.
As if on cue, two minutes later Sarah was being pushed to where Adrea and Hailee were standing. The guys were introducing the band and thanking the fans for coming out.
�Mom, we are going on stage.� Hailee smiled as Justin jogged over to where they were. He grabbed Hailee�s hand and walked out on the stage, Sarah and Adrea followed behind them.
�We couldn�t make it here last tour, we really missed you guys. Tacoma is one loud city, you all rock!� Joey smiled into his microphone.
�I bet you are all asking who these ladies are.� Lance said in his deep voice the crowd yelled a little.
�This is Adrea Baxston, and her daughter Hailee Baxston. Adrea is our personal reporter. She tells you what is rumor and what is a lie. We want to tell you all, who she is so you don�t think she is dating any of us when she walks off our tour bus.� JC said walking around.
�And this blonde standing here, I�m sure you all know who she is. Sarah Chasez.� Justin said with a smile. �Oh My God, JC�s SISTER!� Justin said in a girlie voice.
�She is no importance to us on this tour. She mainly keeps us in check.� Chris said
The girls screamed and Hailee clung onto Justin�s leg. He picked her up and held the microphone to her mouth.
�Say something.� He smiled
Hailee started to blush, but she wanted to show off for Justin.
�Chris and Justin play Barbies with me.� She smiled; every one started to scream ten times louder.
JC watched as Adrea and Hailee walked off the stage. He knew Trevor was there, he wasn�t standing waiting for Adrea. What he saw was Sarah run up to him and pull him in for a kiss.
Adrea had time to think about everything. Sarah and Trevor took Hailee to seats and they watched the last half-hour of the show from there.
She was more then happy that they did that. Her head was hurting, she had been thinking far to long about what had gone down that day.
How could JC love her? She didn�t want him to say it. She did love him; she loves him so much. Just the three words caused a lot of pain in her life. Sure JC knew she had a boy friend that was hit by drunk driver. He now knows that was Hailee�s father. What he didn�t know was that night; he had told Adrea he loved her, only to be killed 15 minutes later by a drunk driver.
It wasn�t her fault she came to that conclusion a while ago. She didn�t know some drunken guy was going to hit him. He was going to be back to pick her up after taking someone home, who wasn�t able to drive that night from drinking too much. She remembers everything from him saying I love you to her, to the cop walking up, to the funeral.
The first two years she said it was her fault. If it wasn�t her birthday, if they hadn�t made love. If he didn�t take that guy home, she had a thing about people drinking. Her father died, he had drank him self to death. She didn�t want that to happen to anyone she loved. Her boy friend then knew this and never had a drink of alcohol the whole time they dated, 3 years.
Adrea thought that if she didn�t have a thing about drinking the he would still be alive. Not drinking messed up her life. She started to drink, a lot. Her mom thought something was wrong with her. She had to go to therapy about the death of him. When she found out she was pregnant she stopped drinking. She was sad that she was pregnant, and hopes to have a boy to name after him.
Adrea knew things wouldn�t go the way she wanted. Of course she had a little girl, Hailee.
All Adrea knew was she couldn�t tell JC how she felt. She didn�t want to say it back. She didn�t want him to get hurt. She loved him too much to tell him how she felt.
