Chapter 19
Adrea got ten phone calls each day from the guys and Sarah. They were up set that she just left but they under stood some of the reasons. They were supposed to be done with the tour two days ago. They had to add more dates. So many concerts sold out so fast that some fans didn�t have a chance to go. This way the fans that couldn�t see them could see them. They were going to be on tour for another three-weeks.
�Sarah, what is wrong?� Adrea yawned over the phone. It was 1am in Orlando, 10pm in California where the guys were.
�Weren�t you listening?� Sarah said trying to talk a little slower.
�Yes, but you woke me up.� Adrea half laughed she missed them all.
�JC is being a butt head. Ever since you left he has been moody, a jerk� We all want to kill him.� Sarah sighed as she played with some of Justin�s stuff in his bag on the tour bus.
�Kick his ass. I�ve seen you slap him. Slap him and tell him to grow up. I don�t care I�m not around him any more.� Adrea said sitting up.
She more then cared. She did love him and he had to act like this. He had to act like a little boy.
�Dre, you should come back. We all miss you. Justin misses you more, he said he liked it when you thought we were having sex.� Sarah laughed rolling her eyes.
�I�m telling you, that boy likes you.� Adrea laughed
�He likes anything that walks and has tits.� Sarah rolled her eyes still digging through Justin�s bags.
�How is the others?� Adrea asked, she knew they were all fine. They called every 10 minutes it seemed like.
�Joey�s girl friend broke up with him. I think it was Rachel, if I�m correct. Lance got drunk last night he tried to hit on me. Chris met a girl, she is a nice person her name is Trisha.� Sarah said with a sigh.
�So what about Justin, did he meet anyone? Have you met anyone? You know it isn�t healthy for a 20-year-old girl like your self to just sit around with a bunch of super stars and not date.� Adrea said rolling over on to her stomach.
�I date, everyone dates.� Sarah laughed then stopped really fast.
�What�s wrong?� Adrea asked sitting up.
�Justin just walked in, I was bored so I started to go through his bags.� Sarah said as she jumped up.
Adrea could hear what was going on through the phone.
�What are you doing?� Justin asked, sweat dripping off him, a towel around his neck.
�I was looking for some candy.� Sarah made up a lie.
�Why are you lying?� Justin asked
�Hey, Adrea is on the phone, talk to her.� Sarah said handing her cell phone to Adrea and running past him to see the rest of the guys getting on the bus slowly but surely.
Adrea sighed when she hung up the phone. Hearing that JC was being a jerk when she was gone made her happy. It meant that he did care for her. Even though he didn�t show it. He cared for her and that was enough to make anyone smile. Adrea didn�t get much sleep. Every five minutes Hailee would walk in saying she heard something out side her bedroom window.
When Adrea woke up she heard Hailee talking on the phone to someone. She jumped up; knowing her daughter was too young to be talking on the phone at 10am.
�Who are you talking to?� Adrea asked
�Justin, he called and said he was bored.� Hailee smiled a bright smile.
�Can I talk to him for a few seconds?� Adrea asked her smiling daughter.
Adrea waited a few seconds then Hailee handed her the phone.
�Justin my 8 year old daughter has a crush on you, and you still seem to call HER every day. Stop with the madness. She is too young for you.� Adrea said over the phone. Hailee was busting up laughing Justin was stuttering.
�Dre, I have a woman in my life.� Justin laughed
�Oh yeah who? From talking to Sarah last night you have no one.� Adrea said
�Well baby, it is you. Don�t you remember that night we got married.� Justin laughed, he stopped and said something else.� Grumpy is up. He is glaring at me. He is walking to the kitchen. He is getting milk out. He is sitting down�� Justin stopped
�SHUT THE HELL UP!� JC yelled.
Adrea�s eyes got wide hearing him yell at his best friend like that.
�Justin I think you should leave him be.� Adrea laughed
�Mom let me talk, let me talk, let me talk.� Hailee kept saying over and over again. Adrea gave up and handed the phone back to her daughter.
Hailee really missed being around them. School would be out for a week in two days. So she had got tickets to where they would be. She wanted Hailee to be surprised and the guys also. She didn�t tell anyone.
She hadn�t worked for a little over two weeks. Jive just told her to take a few weeks off so that JC could cool off. They were also okay with the fact that she had a daughter. They had said �well you are 24 years old, we didn�t think you would have a child. Nevertheless, you are old enough to be a mother.� That also made her a little happier. The fact that she didn�t loose her job. They are letting her have this time off and still paying her. She knew as soon as she went back on tour she�d be working. Doing write-ups, talking to the press about what was going on. Telling the press stuff the fans wanted to know. They guys weren�t dating anyone. That is what she always said to the press.
She talked to them each day for the next two days. She turned off her cell phone and packed up her and Hailee the last day of school before it was let out for a week. She was going to pick her up from school and go right to the airport.
�Mom, where are we going?� Hailee asked with a slight yawn.
�You�ll see, if you are sleepy you can just take a nap.� Adrea said with a smile.
She could already see the look on her daughters face when they pulled up to the airport, and the look on her face when she seen the guys. She also wanted to see JC. She knew he was going to be a jerk to her and not talk to her. She just couldn�t stand not seeing him. She wanted to at least see him for five seconds to make her feel half way better.
They arrived at the airport an hour later. Hailee had fallen asleep after ten minutes into the ride. She woke up and was jumping for joy. She knew what was going on with out having to be told. She was going to see Sarah and the guys today only five hours away in Washington State.
When they got to Sea Tack airport, Sarah was the first one to be called. Adrea called her and told her to come to the airport, not to tell anyone.
About an hour later, Sarah was they�re waiting for Adrea and Hailee.
�Sarah!� Hailee smiled running into Sarah�s arms.
�Hey girl friend. How has school been for you?� Sarah asked picking her up. �Boy you have grown.� She added
�School is okay, they don�t like me because I know *NSYNC.� Hailee smiled as Adrea walked up with their bags.
�Thanks for picking us up.� Adrea smiled as they walked out.
�It�s cool. Look what I got for you kid, A limousine.� Sarah smiled as the driver opened the door.
The three of them got in and were taken to the Tacoma Dome. They guys were getting done with sound check by the time they got there.
Hailee ran on stage in the middle of their last song, �Bye, Bye, Bye.�
�Justin look at me.� She smiled running up to him. He stopped and looked at her. He noticed who it was and picked her up.
�How did you get here little one?� Justin asked as she gave him a hug.
�Mom brought us. I didn�t know anything about it until I woke up and we were at the airport.� She smiled as Justin put her down.
�Where is your mom?� Justin asked looking around.
Adrea walked on the stage. She seen Hailee pointing to her. She looked around at each of the guys. Joey, Lance, and Chris were laughing and talking about something. JC wasn�t in site. She was about to walk over to Justin when she felt someone grab her arm and pull her off the stage behind a curtain.
Adrea turned around and seen JC standing there.
�I need to talk to you.� He mouthed taking his microphone off and pulled her to a door. He opened it up and it was an empty room.
�I don�t want to talk.� Adrea said, her heart pounding.
Who was she kidding she wanted to talk. She wanted to talk to him; she had wanted to talk to him for three weeks.
She was about to say something but he started.
�I�m a jerk, I know. I guess I was up set that you didn�t tell me. I care so much about you. Knowing that you had a child and never told me, it hurt so badly. I�ll under stand if you never want to talk to me again. I just have to say sorry. So, I�m sorry.� JC said
