 4/10/03: Challenge Two The players who showed up to the challenge were Chris, Heidi, John, and Lauren. However, John left to watch Survivor. So the challenge was like this... I asked three questions in each round, and whoever answered the most questions the slowest was eliminated. In round one, Heidi was eliminated, though the question was a tiebreaker between all three players. In round two, Lauren won the challenge- and an exemption. However... At this point, $60,000 had been earned. I offered Lauren the chance to buy up to ten quiz points total for Chris and Heidi, but each one cost $5,000. She could have bought any from 0 to 10. She bought them five each, so $50,000 was removed from the pot. In this challenge, $10,000 was gained total. Any people who held it over five minutes earned the pot $5,000, and the person who held it the longest would win an exemption! Josh earned the exemption with a time of 23 hours and 55 minutes (AHHH!) and $25,000 was made in total. |
