Making life easier through technology

* These are actual pictures of robots that work today.   They have been taken from sites on the net.  THEY ARE NOT MADE BY ME.  I thought they rocked, and wanted to use them.  GO NASA!*

WURCs are the common for of labor in the world now. They have taken the lowest of jobs and perform them with ease and efficiency. Created by Wunt Technologies in the early part of the 2nd millenium, wurcs have found a home in the Metros, under the ocean, and in the vast farm states of the world. Simple-minded machines useful for dangerous and repetitive work, the wurcs were instrumental in the construction of the first Metro (East Coast Sprawl). Through their tireless efforts, the groundwork for the prototype city module was completed in less than one year. The rest of the framework for the original Metro was completed in the same amount of time. cwnomad2.jpg (11909 bytes)

The newest in state of the art artificial life

Now WURCs can be found in every walk of life, not just those situated for construction. Humanoid servants help with daily tasks. Patrol WURCs keep the Metros free from criminals. Space WURCs maintain and repair the HALO Project supplying the world with limitless energy. They heal the sick and feed the poor. The WURCs have saved us from ourselves. Unfortunately, they are simple and cannot think for themselves. They cannot outgrow their original programming. Even though this programming may be extensive and quite intricate, they have no creative spark to act outside such protocols.
Stable and trustworthy, WURCs are the new backbone of the world. Using the best in Netcasting technology, and the strongest in alloys and polymers, WURCs are a force unto themselves. Receiving directions from a central hub of the Metro in the Spire of Knowledge, or from the mobile command post, WURCs can act as extensions of our bodies for our safety and protection. cwvensgndo.jpg (5160 bytes)
