Tutorials:
Armpatches
This process is rather easy. First get a RSB to BMP converter you can get the stand alone one from our utility section or the plugin for adobe or corel paint shop off your RS Cd. Now you will want to make a 32x32 Pixel image or resize something you have to 32x32 pixels. Save it in 24 bit BMP format. Now convert it to RSB format. Ok now wherever you saved it go there and copy it and go into your Rogue Spear Folder, then access your data folder, and finally your Armpatch folder. Paste your armpatch and rename it armpatchxx.rsb where xx is the next number, standard is 16 so you would make yours armpatch17.rsb but if you already have new ones it might be higher up so check first.
Rextexturing a map in UO or RS
This is actually very easy to do. All you really need to is an RSB-BMP converter, a stand alone one is available in our Utility section. Now make a new folder on your desktop or wherever and cut and paste the entire contents of the map of your choice into it. To find the map you want goto Rogue Spear/Data/Map then just pick the one you want to retexture and cut and paste it into your new folder. Ok now convert all the files you are capable of converting into BMP format (some cannot be supported on the stand alone version but its more then enough to work with). Now just find the one you want to edit and select it so that it opens up in your default paint program. Modify it however you want just keep size aspect and you should try and make it match up on corners since it will "tile". Now just save it. Now you will want to delete the .rsb of it. So lets say the BMP you edited was called 09_wall_ext01.bmp you will want to delete the 09_wall_ext01.rsb file then convert your new one into .rsb format. Thats all there is too it.
