Professionaly a Pharmacist, with a Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry. My work deals with development of new drug candidates for treating various diseases particularly i am interested with diabetes, hypercholestremia and cardiovascular diseases.

I did my schooling from my home town Pondicherry and got my B.Pharmacy degree from College of Pharmacy, Trivandrum Medical College, Kerala. Then did my M.Pharmacy and Ph.D specialising in Medicinal Chemistry from UIPS, Punjab University, Chandigarh, India.
I have worked at Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu during 2001-2002 and at Ranbaxy Research Laborartory, Gurgaon during 2002-2003, before moving to Taiwan in May 2003.
Before moving to NHRI I worked at Dept. Chemistry, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, taiwan, as PDF from may 2003 to march 2004.
