Local and nearby Morgan owners attended the Walter Mitty Races at Road Atlanta the first weekend in May to cheer on the Splinter Group Racing Team and to enjoy the all of the vintage racers and their cars. Six Morgans showed up on a very wet Saturday and a few hearty souls made it Sunday, which turned out out to be the best of the two days. Those there on Sunday afternoon were treated to a great showing by the Splinter Group team with SuperDave Bondon taking the win and daughter Stacey making a great showing in spite of late race engine problems. Sixteen Morgans were on the field on a wonderful Saturday at Atlanta British MotorCar Day. We could not have asked for better weather and those attending enjoyed the day tvisiting and admiring the other almost 500 British Cars as well as a handful of classic British motorcycles. (View Photos)
