As part of Turner International's daily site inspection, Mr. Robin Mace, the Project Manager addressed to a group of Engineers on site about the importance of team work, site reporting and communication lines between the different members of the Project Team; from Sub-contractor to Contractor to Consultant to Project Manager.
Mr. Mace clearly stated that if any problem should arise on site, it must be reported immediately in order to take the necessary action to solve the problem, properly coordinate the work and re-direct the team to avoid any delays or a possible sacrifice in the overall quality of the building works.
The fact that everybody was working together as a 'Team' was also stressed. One should not take a reactive action and blame someone else for his problems, but must remember that, as part of the team, everybody works together in harmony to try and achieve common goals. |
