The epic, Replication, is currently being written and developed by Anubis. Many readers probably already know the actual name of the writer, but it was thought best not to list it. Anubis is currently a freshman in college and the idea for Replication was first devised in mid 2001 under the impression of an idea for an experimental online rpg and comic series. Not having the time to create an online rpg nor update frequently enough that and the lack of an ability to draw the same thing over and over, the idea rested in the back of his head for quite some time. Later, an idea for a comic series was initialized spawned by a friend writing a comic series entitled Geckoman. As an avid anime and manga writer, Anubis thought it profound to do a comic book, although lacked the patience to redraw characters thoroughly. In the end, the idea for an online comic was in the works to build a fan-base.

It's surprising the idea was developed into an online novelization of the series. You can see that much of the story is played off on archetypes such as the post apocalyptic future and the magical weapon, or even the devil figures, but that was kept in mind in the creation of the story for the purpose of satirization. If you look past the cliches, you will find an indepth and engrossing story about a young man being thrown into an unknown world and becoming corrupted by the power he holds and craves.
