1) A member shall be defined as any dues-paying member of a certified Circle K club.
2) A voluntary act shall be defined as one in which no payment is received for services rendered.
3) A charitable entity shall be defined as an organization which provides service or monetary assistance to those who possess a basic need for such services.
4) A K-Family function shall be defined as any project, meeting, banquet, rally, conference, or convention of Circle K, Kiwanis, Key Club, or Builders Club.
5) A service hour shall be defined as sixty minutes of work performed by a member. Service hours performed by candidates for membership shall be recorded but not reported until membership has been granted. Service hours to be reported by said members shall be counted in the month of their election to membership.
1) A service project shall be considered a voluntary act by one or more members to benefit those who possess a basic need for such a service.
2) A fundraising project shall be considered a voluntary act by one or more members acquiring funds for a charitable entity. All money raised during said activity must be applied toward the charitable entity for which the funds were intended.
3) Preparation and travel time spent shall be included as part of the project.
1) An interclub shall be considered attendance at another K-Family function by a minimum of four members of the same Circle K club.
2) Interclubs shall be measured in miles. The total measure of an interclub shall be the round-trip mileage multiplied by the number of interclub participants. Mileage shall not be counted for less than four participants. The Mileage Chart shall be used in all calculations. (See Appendix G)
