9. To provide affordable food choice alternatives when delivering full meals where fully functioning kitchens on
.....school sites already exist, and/or work to ensure that the delivery of such meals become easily available until
.....such time all schools have kitchen facilities to meet the total needs of their general school population.

a) Introduce reasonable and fair solutions that operates on a universal subsidized format, that provides equal
.....access for all students across the Province.

b) Ensure that food choice alternatives are in the best interest of all students, and that public community activism
.....to secure this fundamental choice is welcomed.

c) To ensure accountability and effective best practices when it accounts for food safety, the delivery of food,
.....and of the disposal of any waste products when not recycled or composted for environmental friendly and
.....economical purposes.

d) To ensure accountability and effective best practices when it concerns gainful employment and the social
.....responsibility that goes along with a growing work force.

.......In conclusion to the proposed pilot project presented along with this request for Provincial seed money in the
..amount of $160,000,000.00 per year for 10 (ten) consecutive years to promote and invest into a whole universal
..school meal program across the Province, NU Foundation for Community Partnerships will secure the support of acting
..communities in a communal effort to do our part in the making of a National initiative that works in favour of providing all
..children, youth and other active student bodies with consistent and viable food alternatives and/or choices.

Nu-Nations Unity™ Youth Mentorship Workshop

1. To provide youth with an opportunity to benefit from hands on learning techniques, work experience opportunities, and job development skills.

a) Offers youth a choice between choosing positive work alternatives that counter act criminal activity and/or interest due to boredom, lack of resources and/or gang recruitment.

b) Gives youth a opportunity to understand and develop work ethics that benefit them and their surrounding communities.

2. To provide youth an opportunity to save financially for their own future learning initiatives by signing onto a contract that stipulates a pre-determined educational savings plan agreement, to be in the best interest for all students who participate in a Nu-Nations Unity™ Youth Mentorship Workshop.

a) A minimum of 30% to a maximum of 50% of all wages paid to any participating youth employee is the recommended saving amounts for a pre-determined educational savings plan agreement.

b) To help ensure that the exploitation of any youth employee does not occur, safe guards and other guidelines within the public welfare system will allow for youth to participate equally and just as fairly as if, the youth employee's parents and/or caregiver were financially secure and not dependent on public assistance.

c) Employing youth in positive work environment that encourages universal savings and future learning opportunities works
.....to boost community morale within all sections of the population.

d) In combination with Government subsidies, and/or is independent of such subsidies a Nu-Nations Unity™ financial transfer 
.....payment can be introduced to help participating employers with the cost of meeting fair employment wages when employing youth
.....in this workshop effort.

e) Youth are required to attend school whether registered with public or alternative education depending on the students over all needs, abilities and what is in the best interest of the student as an opening learning attitude is expected.

f) Meal tickets and/or other subsidizes such as a transit credit may be introduced as a reward incentive for good work habits, and/or as a supplement to offset the total rising cost of food or transit fares in correlation to communal hunger within all communities.

g) The Nu-Nations Unity™ Youth Mentorship Workshop invites local businesses to also participate in the catering of making available and reliable food choices in the form of meal tickets, in a timely manner, that works to keep the total youth employee population healthy under this public community initiative.

3. Financial support and other subsidies from the Federal Government may result from this community program that falls under the title of, Nu-Nations Unity™ Youth Mentorship Workshop.

1. A request is being put forward to the Provincial Government of British Columbia, Canada asking for seed money in the amount of $160,000,000.00 (one hundred and sixty million dollars) per year for a minimal ten (10) year period, for the purpose of providing reliable seed money to all school districts so that a universal school meal program can be implemented across the Province in a predictable and timely manner.

a) $160,000,000.00 per year for 10 (ten) years consecutively equals to the amount of $1,600,000,000.00 (one billion and six hundred million dollars) for Provincial initial seed money investment.

2. The request for seed money in the amount of $160,000,000.00 from the Provincial Government is independent of the proposed project submitted by NU Foundation for Community Partnerships, as the project called Nu-Nations Unity™ District Charity Event and other such events, act as a separate initiative to help meet the total growing needs of all communities when introducing and securing a universal school meal program across the Province.

3. Monies provided for by the Provincial Government will be divided and forwarded to those registered participating Districts or School Trustee Boards, and/or to other Learning Institutes or Centers that work towards ending communal hunger on a community level for the benefit of all students.
a) There are 1662 public school in British Columbia from grades K to 12.

b) There are 355 independent schools also registered on the roster.

c) The total number of schools registered with the Provincial Government is 2,017.

d) The cost of ensuring an adequate school meal program on a moderate school site is between $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per school, per year.

e) Based on a yearly $40,000.00 seed money grant for all 2,017 schools the total amount of funds required would equal to $80,680,000.00 with a remaining surplus of grant funds equalling to $79,380,000.00.

f) Based on a yearly $50,000.00 seed money grant for all 2,017 schools the total amount of funds
....required would equal to $100,800,000.00 with a remaining surplus of grant funds equalling to $59,150,000.00.

g) Respective to any excess funds after the initial seed money allotment is divided between all 2,017 schools,
....a remaining amount of financial surplus can further be divided between all other learning environments where
....a Alternative and/or Post Secondary education takes place.

h) In addition to providing adequate opportunities for closing the hunger gap within all communities across the Province,
....the total amount of seed money being requested also allows for any administrative costs that works in favour of creating
....permanent gainful employment within a new food service industry.

i) All, or any remaining funds after the initial pre-determined seed money disbursement between school districts allows for
....future inflation rate increases, in addition too any interest revenue reserves that may accumulate from a specialized holding
....Trust Account monitored by the Provincial Government.

4. Federal funds are a consideration when further investment is needed to ensure that a universal school meal program
....continues to grow in a community effort to reduce the hunger gap within all communities across the Province, and/or
....across Canada.
