I purchased a 1966 red Monza with a 4-speed and a 110 with 66,000 original miles. I bought it from the original owner, I even have the buying contract and the original 33 year old title dated Sept. 18, 1969. It was bought Dec. 22, 1966 with a three year loan at $63.07 a month!! It is about 95% or more rust free. It had a brake problem in '88 or '89 and was parked in a garage until 3 years ago. They moved to an appt. where it sat out in the weather since I finally checked on it after a long time of driving by it and was told $1,000. Of course that was steep for me being the budget enthusiast that I am. The car had some damage from sitting outside. Mostly all interior damage. The seats are all ripped and the windshield cracked in the summer heat with the car always closed up. I looked it over and asked about the brakes they think it just needs wheel cylinders. When she opened the trunk I asked "Oh you tried changing the master cylinder?" and she said "No that is the original". I was sold, under the hood is untouched all sheet medal and air ducts are in place this car was driven and then parkedthe owner never tinkered with it at all. I bought the car for $600 and brought it home where it sat for nearly a year. I have now rebuilt the carbs and am about to pull the (brand new) brakes off of the grey car which was retired to get the red car back on the road. The parts were ordered from Clarks. Many more updates to come!
