I think Stumpy feels especially comfortable with me because he has seen me for so long now in the backyard.

| Stumpy is the first squirrel I ever noticed in our yard. He is easy to identify because of his stumpy tail (or lack of a tail). I assume he is pretty old. His ears are tattered as you can see to the right. | |||||||||||||||

| After I discovered that squirrels will eat from my hand, I tried hand feeding Stumpy. It did'nt take long at all for him to catch on! I think Stumpy feels especially comfortable with me because he has seen me for so long now in the backyard. |
