| Bren: Sunday Jenner and Pam have to go back to Canada, and Jack heads back home-- so we all have more hugs to give out...(boy I love getting hugged) When Jinx and Chre get back from the airport, we head off to Medieval Times.. where we cheered for the winning knight, and he proceeds to throw the first flower to our group. Jinx: Now this was an AWESOME place! One of my favorite time periods!! One show just ended and I saw this little girl wearing a princess hat�you know the ones that look like cones and has a veil coming from the tip with ribbon etc. I HAD to have one!!! **grin** This place was so great! Our knight was cute. The black and white knight was cute. The server below us was cute. **g** If I ever lose my job Medieval Times would be my next place of employment, lol! Chrebet: Jinx was set on buying her princess hat so we all went to the gift shop. Jester hats!!!! The only way to go! Me, Jinx and Keith all bought one. Laura, Gumbie and Lasso got flower bands. What a great looking group we Back: Miss Tif, Bren, Hawk, Jinx made! The only thing I wanted out of event was I wanted Front: Lasso, Keith, Chrebet, Gumbie us to root for a bad knight! And we should have sat in the black and white section! **hubba hubba!** But our red and yellow knight wasn�t that bad at all ;o) Jinx: We (myself, Laura, Lasso and Gumbie) felt that our screaming �WE STILL LOVE YOU!!� at our knight made him win the whole competition. **grin** Afterwards we lost Ed and Miss Tif then found out that he was already on his way home! {{{{{Ed}}}}} for missing you in saying goodbye! Observations by Hawk: Lasso is a riot� and a good source of information. Heh heh heh, almost knocked over the house� ;) Paper crowns makers need to start taking into account that some of us have huge mugs! Does anyone else think that selling solid wooden swords to kids is just asking for trouble? Hawk and Jinx How can you not love a place where utensils are not even an option? ;) Gumbie�s name is well earned. Bren: We all agree that we have had a great time at Medieval Times, and head back to the hotel for more charades.... this time I think Gumbie and Hawk are making things up..... Killing pigeons in the park???? LOL yeah sure !!! Gumbie: Well now sheesh people. Is it my fault none of them have heard of Tom Lehrer? "I ache for the touch of your lips dear, but much more for the touch of your whips dear, you can raise welts, like nobody else, as we dance to the Masochism Tango.." ;) As as for the other weird ones.. well they are books! Honest! Check Chapters or Amazon or whatever it is you all use down there =P Jinx: We head back to the hotel where everyone was so laid back! WTF?!?! Every time I leave I always hear stories of the wild night everyone had the night before! I finally get to spend some time with everyone and they zone on me!!!! **sigh** I have come to the conclusion that I�m only being used for my car. LOL! Chrebet, Bren and I go for Taco Bell **yummy** and we lucked out in buying X-Men pillows! Woohoo!!! I got to chose the game of choice and tried the charades. Gumbie is not allowed to write titles anymore for any subject!!! **grumble** Swallowing pigeons in the park�yeah yeah I know its poisoning but swallowing was better! LOL! Then Chrebet, Bren and I showed our amazing throwing and juggling abilities. We were waaaaaaaaay too tired! I actually went home early that night! (1am! **g**) Gumbie: Hawkie, was that comment about my name to do with my shoulders? Or the attempted yoga position? or the knees and shoulders? Oh and did that picture turn out lol? Bren: Monday is my day to leave, but of course not before I get plenty Lasso, Laura, our Knight, Gumbie, Jinx of hugs!! Heading home I make it in an hour and a half, no rain this time YEAH!!! Chrebet: Monday I actually drive into the city WOOHOO! Hawk & I don't get killed at the game and Ranger fans are wimps LOL! (Side by Jinx � steps over to the side several times to miss the wrath from any Ranger fans that may read that, lol!) Autograph yeah! Hawk: Well, no reason to get all linear now, so I think I�ll jump ahead to Monday. The day started much earlier than I had expected. Why exactly is there an afternoon game on a Monday? Alright, next question, what�s Presidents Day? Hey, this is a Blackhawk game we�re talking about, so quit questioning it moron! Ok, anyway� we finally made it to the NY part of the NY/NJ gathering� or at least some of us did. By this point we had lost more than half the group and only 6 of us remained, including laura, who somehow made a miraculous recovery from her illness somewhere between 8am and 1pm. So, Chre and I went to the hockey game and the rest walked around looking at the pretty facades and touring the facilities apparently. I have to say� the game really ruined my stereotypical image of the crazy, rowdy New York sports fans. Other than the occasional round of the 15 year old chant of �Potvin sucks� the crowd was very sedate. I didn�t even get much grief for wearing my Blackhawk jersey� hell, even crazy Panuski didn�t get much grief! All in all, it was a pretty good game� other than the final score of course. |
