I distinctively remember my first encounter with the World Wide Web and my immediate reaction henceforth 'huh! Why all the fuss?' My humble expectation I guess was that when I double click on the browser, something magical would happen and one would be able to venture into a world of streaming audio and video, rich graphics, communicating with people face to face, watch TV via the net, etc.
