Another trail in the woods leads you to an old forest, filled with ancient trees. You feel you are being watched, and....YOU ARE. Finally, you hear a whoot of an owl. Glancing up into the tree ahead, you see him. Watching you...with a very smug look on his owl face.
"Hello there traveller. My name is Copernicus. I rule over this part of the forest. By the way, you wouldn't happen to have any books with you, would you? I absolutely love reading and I am always on the lookout for new reading material."
You tell Copernicus that you don't have any books with you right now, but when you return, you shall be sure to bring some with you. He begins to beam , if an owl can do such a thing... |
