Ah the 1980's the time of excess, sex, and flashy sports cars!!!! Why not make a Grand Theft Auto in this era? This is not a prequile.

Playability

If you played Grand Theft Auto 3 the controls are almost identical, just some minor changes. For example, the running controls aren't so jerky and you run so much smoother.

Graphics

They have hands!! Sorry in GTA 3 it was nothing more than a mere stump. In stead the characters have a hand but no separate fingers ( hey, ya can't walk on water). The cars are much more defined they almost look like real cars, instead of looking like oval like in GTA 3, cars will shine in the sunlight. The sun will cast character shadows and shadows will reflect off cars, water and other shiny or light reflecting objects blinding you. At night the main strip (the tourist area where you start the game officially the part where you talk to Sunny) the lights from the neon lights on the hotels and bars look so amazing at first glance you would think its real.

Sound

Stunning. Rockstar Games recorded the helicopter sounds so there a reason it sounds real (sorry someone asked me why it sounded so real). The music in the game is from real bands and songs made during the 1980's, all but one band is real Its Love Fist there full name is “ RockStars' Love Fist”. Anyways the voice acting is mostly done by real actors. Such as Ray Liotta ( Goodfellas) plays Tommy Vercetti. He's the perfect match playing a mafia member in Goodfellas .

Entertainment

The game has just as much as GTA 3 and then some. You don't only just get to kill, but you get to play a “nice guy” missions where you can buy real estate property to be a enterpenuir or just to get anther save point. The game has a lot to offer.

Replay Value

Very high.

Secrets

1) 100% completion what I'm told gets you a better gang than the one you get later on in the game

2) The mansion owned by Coke Lord Daiz is the mansion from ScarFace.

3) A swimming pool on Starfish Island is shaped like a woman's body and has colored tile for the bra and panties; anther swimming pool is the RockStar symbol

4) There are 2 sunken ships that I an pretty sure 1 is from a Jaws film and the other one is just a sunken tanker

5) On the building across from The Malibu Club lights on that building will turn off then anther group of lights will turn on in the shape of a penis

5) Wait till you have 70 packages before buying the condo in downtown if u buy it before u have 70 packages none of the items you unlock will go up there ever.

6) Apartment (I think A7) has a horrible bloody scene you'll have to see it and IM a person who likes gory movies.

7) Wait till you beat the game before getting the 100 th package if u wait till you beat the game the HUNTER will appear on the first island on the south part where the helipad is.

8) There's litteraly a giant Easter Egg that is found in the building across from the VCN helipad. What you have to do is to get up on the VCN helipad. When you are up there, take out your M4 and shoot the windows on the building, which is right next to you. One of those windows is and ellusion and when you find it jump and you'll go right through it. There you will find and actual Easter Egg.

9) When you beat missions decorations will appear in the mason you get (like ‘nude' pics of Candy Suxxx shopping bags from stores and so on and so forth) also some appear at your very fist save spot

10) In the hotel (where your first save spot is there's posters of scenes from GTA 3 and the fish tank is a replica of the cliff when Don Salvetoras mansion is.

11) On the cash registers are scenes from the first GTA.
