Welcome to The Official Website of Miraculous Medal School Batch 89' Cebu, Philippines 6000

It's been a 3 decades now we left our alma mater and we wanted to get in touch with everyone. This is our way of saying to all batchmates that we can be in tact and more alive, to show that the year 1989 was not the end but the start for more years to count.

We are hoping that this site will help us reach not only our batchmates but the world and let them know that we are always united in heart and in thoughts. In the Lord is all our Trust....

We had a blast from the past when the Batch 1989 had a get together last January of this year! it was a cozy one for I could only get hold of just a few of the batchmates. But then, bridging the gap of almost 17 years since stepping out of the Asilo campus was the only thing in my mind. The batch agreed to meet @ Tequila Joe's at Ayala, I was poignant as I went to the rendezvous for I can't see them clearly without my glasses (he he he, yeah yeah, it goes with age). And surprise, surprise! I met Donabel Salcedo with her hubby (sori, forgot their family name, forgive, forgive, forgive). And to think that they were planning to leave the country the day after! What luck! Both of them joined the dinner. We had a lot of fun and excitement updating each other and sharing each's adventures! Marites Tindog was there (she's married, sori tes, i also forgot :)) Noel Dayot was seriuosly fun as usual, Sharika Agonias is forever sexy, so as Ritchel Lao Guico, Hazel Manigos Latonio won't miss such event of course (mangluod jud ko, he he), a well-toned Arvin Bilar joined in (he's getting married :)), our lawyer batch Atty. Hebe Tangga-an was able to join despite her hectic schedule, so was Jane Abing and of course, me, myself and moi!! We had a great time that night and we hoped to do it once again. And hopefully, YOU will be there to join us!!!

Seventeen years ago, I remember asking myself " Can I still see these people again? " , " Would they still remember my face? " a lot of questions crosses my mind at that very moment as we march towards the school ground for our graduation rites. It was the best of my life - I have made a lot of friends, nurture my skills and talents ( I never thought I had one) and at that very day th'was the end of the happy times.
As we bid our goodbyes to everyone - I had a flashback of all the things I will surely miss : playing japanese game near the flag-pole, the morning exercises/dances every after the flag ceremony, eating lunch at the waiting shed with my other classmates and schoolmates together with our moms, and seating under those mango trees looking and waiting for my crush to pass-by (mmm..? secret lang!),and of course my dear dear classmates like the ever energetic tandem of Noel and Filuis (ang mga virus), the super-pilyong Pitoy and my best friend/s.
How I wish that we can go back in time and re-do everything. Maybe, some of you won't agree about it -- we were just kids back then. But the best thing about it, is that some of us didn't forget, right? . The bond that we have is incomparable. That is why after graduation, year after year after year during the feast of Asilo I never misses a chance to be there because I was hoping to see everyone again. Rekindle the past and bond again. But sad to say, only few went back. Every time it always been the same faces.
But now, after so many years - thanks to friendster. I was able to see everyone again. And hope to hear from all of you more. Hoping next time we can really really plan a grand reunion! Is it a Deal or NO Deal? =)
