MAGIC/SPECIAL MOVES
While there are no wizards or magic-casters in this game, magic is a part of the game, and can prove quite useful for those who take the time to learn how to utilize its powers. To gain magic power, a character must visit the Great Fairy who lives in Clock Town. If they ask the fairy for magic power, they will get it to the normal level. The Great Fairy that lives at Snowhead, however, will grant extra magic power (NOT normal, mind you). The total magic power of each is listed below.
MAGIC ITEMS
Magic powers will consume a certain amount of magic. Each are listed below.

Fire arrows are effective against the Deku and Zora, and if one comes in contact with one of these races, it will deal a fatal blow. If one of any race has a quiver, the arrows will catch on fire, causing a -3 penalty in their ES. They are also useful for burning down trees or catching the straw roofs on fire in Clock Town. The fires can be extinguished with the Song of Storms.

Ice Arrows take up the same magic as the Fire Arrows, and are particularly potent against the Zora. They will also freeze other characters, which doesn't hurt them, but allows the archer time to get out of away (about 3 turns distance).

Light Arrows are particularly effective against the undead. One successful hit with a Light Arrow will defeat an undead character. For other characters, the Light from the arrows blinds the character temporarily and gives them a -4 penalty to their ES.

The Lens of Truth consumes minimal amounts of magic. So little, in fact, that in 5 minutes only 1 point of magic will be consumed.
SPECIAL MOVES
Special Moves are unique moves/attacks that can be performed by certain races. Some are magical, some are not.
| Goron Roll: | Race: Gorons | Magic Consumption: 3 per minute |
Goron Rolling is the fastest form of travel in all of Termina, and is quite surprising considering the bulky size of the Gorons. It depletes magic very quickly, and in just one minute (this is real time and game time, by the way), it'll take away and astounding three points. This move is not effective for fighting, but is very useful for getting around quickly, especially in battle (it will only take two turns to get to a wall). A Goron can also opt to roll without using magic. This can get a Goron to a destination in battle in 3 rounds, and is slightly slower than a horse.

The Zora Shield can only be used underwater, but it is very helpful. This shield protects the Zora from all projectiles, including fins and arrows shot into the water.

No, it's not really flying. Hovering, more. A Hylian Deku can fly high up into the air and float a short distance (like in Majora's Mask), and a Terminian Deku can hover above the ground for about the twice the distance as the Hylian Deku, and at the speed of the horse. While no magic is needed, a Deku Flower is.

All Deku can shoot a bubble from their snouts, which will lower the ES of a character (see the Deku page for details). This consumes 1 point of magic.
