ITEMS
Items vary drastically. Some are weapon types, such as bombs, deku sticks, and hookshots, which use up weapon skill point to learn. Non-weapon types, such as instruments, pictographs, and pearls, use up non-weapon skill points. All of these items require few points to be spent, and none of them go beyond Level 3. Actually, even characters that do not know how to use the item can use them. If it is a weapon type, before it is used, a die is rolled. If 4-6, it is a successful use. If not, the item has no effect. Non-weapon types can be used by anyone, but their skill at use them is very poor.
