Superman was the first modern, super-hero as we know super heros today. That is one of the main reason why I included him on my web page. He's larger than life and almost too good to be true...which is why in recent years writers and artists have toned him down quite a bit. No more moving planets, or flying through space without a breathing apparatus. In other words..."wimped him out". To be fair...the latest stories in the comic books and the newest animated series are pretty good. My only complaint is he sure gets kicked around a lot. In my opinion, he should be the one dealing out the defeats.
