This was an extremely cool movie.
It was wonderfully written, acted, and produced. I enjoyed it on so many
levels. It had over-the-top special effects and action sequence. It had
very deep philosophy. It made me think. It talked about the nature of what
we call reality. It talked about what it means to be a human being, and
discussed what freedom is. The character Morpheus was right, no one can
tell you what the matrix is, you have to see it for yourself. The movie
also touched on responsibility for our own perceptions. The matrix was
a metaphor for un-real perceptions we fool ourselves into believing. I
would say that this could be anying: drugs, sin, lack of self-confidence,
unbelief in God, or the thought that we and our actions have no impact
on other people.
