SPIDER-MAN
Spider-man is the first fictional character I've ever liked. The idea of swinging around on a thin web line, possessing the proportional strength, speed, and agility of a human sized spider. It captured my imagination and led me to want to study science. Spider-man made his webbing and web shooters and used science to solve many of his crime cases. He also has always been depicted as a real young man, having real world problems that many of us face: financial problems, relationship issues, self doubt, fear, anxiety, school, peers picking on him, and in addition how to save people from superpower criminals and disasters. No matter how bad things get for him, (and its not always a happy ending), he never gives up and always tries to do the right thing. As I've gotten older I've begun to like the character even more. In the first Spider-man story ever published, he learned his greatest lesson as a super hero and a human being and it sums up the character the best,

"With great power, there must also come great responsibility!"

This made/makes me think of the abilities God gives us and how we have the responsibility and the duty to use those gift with care and love!
