Automatic Transmission

Navigation Home Manual Transmission Windshield

Since I don't have an automatic transmission, this is a SWAG (Scientific Wild Assed Guess) on what it would be.  Most Automatic shifters that I have seen simply go back and fourth with little or no lateral movement.  Therefore I think its safe to say this example is OK.  While this option requires you shift into 5th gear differently otherwise you will hit your knuckles on the bottom of the cradle.

Parts Used:

  Part Number Description
1 75103-599 BMW 323i - 4dr Sedan 99-00
2 685-PM AMPS Tipper
3 675-BT Multi Media Mount Base and Top.

Installation of the Indash Bracket is very easy.

  1. Simply pry off the shiny molding.
  2. Using a 10 mm socket, take the nut off that is closest to the radio head unit.
  3. Place the Indash bracket over the hole and tighten the nut.
  4. Put the molding back on.
