About 36 kilometers southwest of Manado,600 meters above sealevel.The drive to Tondano passes trough picturesque villages and clove plantations. Situated right on the edge of the lake is he Remboken Village,an ideal place for water skiing, fishing, and boating.Bungalows, a hotwater swimming pool and restaurants are available. A tour around the lake is a must. Some of the little villages around the lake are built on stilts, over the water. The fisherman are breeding goldfish for the Japenese market. An alternative and very injoyable way to see the lake, is by push bike.
