All Yahweh's
moedim (appointments) begin on the evening before the date stated in the table at sunset or at a fixed time (e.g. 1800/6 p.m.) in extreme northern and southern latitudes. If you live between longitude 43° east of Greenwich (the centre of Lake Van in Turkey, the approximate location or the original Garden of
Eden from which all time measurements are made) and the artifically created
International Date Line (IDL) which runs through the Pacific Ocean, please add one day to all moedim dates.
The
Sabbath begins at sunset on
Yom Shabbat (Friday evening) and lasts until sunset on
Yom Rishon (Saturday evening). If you live between 43° east of Greenwich (the centre of Lake Van in Turkey) and the International Date Line (IDL) or the IDL Zone - Sabbath begins Saturday sunset and lasts until Sunday sunset.
Similarly add one day to all
Rosh Chodesh (New Moon) dates if you live in the IDL Zone.
The IDL Zone includes the whole of Asia (minus Syria, Lebanon,
Israeli Republic, Jordan, Western Saudi Arabia, Western Iraq and Georgia), the Eastern part of European Russia, and also Somalia and Madagascar in Eastern Africa

*After the 2nd Temple was destroyed the rabbis (P'rushim/Pharisees) chose 6 of Sivan for Shavu'ot, always counting 50 days from Nisan 15. **History reports that the Kohenim (Priests)/Tzaddikim ('Righeous Ones') of the Temple counted 50 days from Yom HaBikkurim, which itself is always the first day of the week after the Pesach (Passover), therefore the Scriptural Shavu'ot is always on the 7th first day of the week after Pesach (Passover). Days of the Week
*The biblical day starts each evening at sunset. Thus, for example, Yom Rishon begins on Saturday evening at sundown and ends on Sunday evening at sundown. Yom Shanee begins at sundown on Sunday.
**Each day of the 7-day week is a recapitulation of one of the 7 annual
Messianic Israelite communal festivals of Yahweh and are used by MLT members as families and privately to meditate on the meaning of the moedim. The
Sabbath Day thus becomes the culmination of a week's spiritual exercises in which the individual soul celebrates the
overcoming in one week's activities and leading to spiritual rest and renewal in Yahweh. Each day is also presided over by one of the seven
Ruachs such that (for example) Yom Revee is presided over and blessed by the Ruach haRevee who also presides over and blesses Shavu'ot.
