Important note to parents: Although many of these websites came recommended from a professor at the University of Ottawa and from the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, I have not had the time to explore every website thoroughly myself as that would take a very long time. I would recommend that all parents keep an eye on children navigating the internet and be sure to warn students not to enter chat rooms or to give away any of their personal information online. Some of these programs could possibly have email or chat portals and I strongly recommend that your children do not use either as we are all aware, talking to strangers on the internet can be quite dangerous. That being said, the internet can also provide a fun way for students to practice grammar and verbs, write stories, listen to songs and to research school projects and can be a valid tool if used with supervision and guidance.

- math flashcards
- asks if student is a boy or a girl but does not ask for other information (haven't figured out why it does that or how to avoid that yet)
- math problems for kids
- a great compilation of games for Junior and Primary students. Organized by curriculum strand, which is helpful.
- a word problem resource. Has different stories that present a logic problem involving different math strands that students are asked to solve. Great for students who have trouble with math problems.
- a good site for older Junior students or students who need more challenging math games
