Have you signed up with the Beacon City Assessor for the Star Program? If you are over 62 and own your own home AND earn under $50,000 a year go to the City Office Building and get the forms. You have a property tax deduction waiting.

If you currently get a Senior Citizen Discount you will automatically receive the Star Tax discount also. So be sure to check your tax bill when it comes.

If one spouse is over 62 and the other is not, you are still eligible.

If you are over 62, own your own home and earn under $50,000, you are eligible for a property tax deduction.
