At our February meeting we were visited by guest speakers.



Robin VerEecke with Tierra Bonita provided us with information
on how we as individuals, and as a community can help.
Here are some of the suggestions:
Attend the Tierra Bonita Board meetings and get involved in their projects.
Organize A Beautification Project.
Plant one tree a year.
Pick up litter wherever you are.
When you take trash to the dump, cover your load.
Stop illegal dumping
Report and/or paint out graffiti

Linda Cisneros with Valencia County animal Control
also spoke with the association.
Some of the points made by Ms. Cisneros are as follows:
There is a new ordinance under consideration.
There is not adequate space at the animal shelter
An up-date shelter is desperately needed.
Meadowlake residents need to know that they ARE required
to get a city license for their animals
by order of Valencia County Ordinance.
