We left Thursday night for Eldridge and then Friday morning for Emmetsburg, Iowa. The drive wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We stayed at the Wild Rose Casino. The rehearsal was Friday evening and then we were invited to the Peters' farm for a bonfire. It was really neat. Ally loved the puppy dogs and said, "woof, woof" about a hundred times. Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding. The bridal party took a hayride from the church to the reception. Cory and Jana were extremely happy. Sunday we stopped in Des Moines to see Hennessy and Renee and then in Iowa City. We met up with Troy and Kate for dinner at the Vine. It was great to be back. Too bad Iowa lost to Ohio State the night before. |

What a busy day! We went to see Scott and Sara's new house in Plano. It's beautiful and in a great location. Then we headed to Jamie and Kerri's to watch the Bears game. Ally loved playing with Josie. The Wallis' were able to stop by on their way home from the nephew's birthday party up north. Then we went to Ramo's to congratulate him and Mary on their engagement. Matt proposed in Dublin on their trip to Europe. |

What a beautiful, happy couple! They finally tied the knot after dating for 10 years. Jenny got her masters degree with Kara and actually grew up down the street from where we live. Ed played on Craig's basketball team. They were married at St. Matthew Church in Glendale Heights and the reception was at Hyatt Woodfield. What a perfect day! |

Ally is walking all over the place now - she does laps around the couch in our family room. We've tried to baby proof as much as possible, so we don't have to chase her all the time Go Chiefs - we had fun watching the first game even though they lost. |

We started out desiging our own purses at 1154 Lill and then Emily had us over to her apartment to play Pin the Macho on the Man and had some wine, margaritas, and appetizers. Then we headed to Platiyo for a yummy mexican dinner and margaritas and then to Hogs and Honeys for some mechanical bullriding and dancing on the bar! |

We had lunch at J. Alexander's last weekend with the Oster's. Ally pushing her push toy around. She is now walking by herself - about 10 feet or so. Labor Day weekend with Grandma and Grandpa downtown Chicago - swimming, Rain Forest Cafe. |
