7/29/2006 - Lakehouse Ally in her pool Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We went to the lakehouse. It was a hot weekend, but lots of fun boating, swimming and sitting by the camp fire! Next year we'll have to make it a longer weekend. It went by too fast.
7/22/2006 - Davenport, Iowa Ally and Craig's Uncle Jack Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We went to Davenport Saturday to visit with Craig's Uncle Jack and Sharla. They were helping Uncle Jerry build a garage and all the family was there. It was great to see everyone.
7/15/2006 - Burlington, Iowa Ally, Lauren, Jillian Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We had a great trip to Burlington, Iowa to visit my grandma and family. We stayed at Fun City. Friday we stopped by the Balloon Launch in Fort Madison, but, I think because of the heat, they never did launch. We checked out the petting zoo and Craig got a tenderloin. Then we went to Aunt Betty's new place for dinner - yummy soup, delicious corn on the cob, fruit, pie... YUM! Uncle Tom, Aunt Joyce and Grandma joined us. Saturday we had lunch at Fun City. Craig's sister, Angel, and her husband, George, brought Lauren and Jillian. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor waterpark. It was so hot, we cooled off in the lazy river and went down water slides. We had dinner and then went to visit my grandma.
7/8/2006 - My Birthday Kathy, John, Craig, Ally, Miranda Click here for pictures on Snapfish	My birthday weekend was a lot of fun. It started out Thursday with Craig surprising me with dinner at Firkin and Fox in Glen Ellyn with 15 of our friends and family. Thanks to everyone for coming:) Friday Craig's dad and Kathy came and we went to Firkin and Fox again for dinner and then walked around Glen Ellyn and got some ice cream. Saturday we had swimming in the morning and then had my family over for a BBQ. Ally started crawling and even said "Mama" - what a great birthday present. She is growing up so fast - she pulls herself up on the couch and tries to walk. She loves going up and down the stairs. Then we went to Navy Pier that evening - it was beautiful on the lake!
7/4/2006 - Fourth of July Jillian, Lauren, Ally Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We had such a great weekend with all of our family. Craig's sister and family came up Saturday and we went to Brookfield Zoo with our nieces, Lauren (2 1/2) and Jillian (10 months) and then swimming in their hotel. Sunday we went to the Aurora outlets to watch my brother's band play and then had cousins, Sara and the Saldeen's, over for a BBQ. Mary (3), Madeline (14 months) and Ally had fun together. Monday we went to my parents' lakehouse to visit with my Uncle Craig and Aunt Sue from Arkansas. We watched the fireworks from the boat over the lake. I couldn't believe all the boats - it was a perfect night. Ally even stayed up to watch them! Tuesday my dad's cousins', kids and grandkids came and we had a blast boating and swimming in the lake. Katlyn was born the same day as Ally, so it was fun to see them together for the first time. Unfortunately Craig had what we think was food poisoning from Jimmy John's because his coworker had the same symptoms - poor guy! Back to work today - weekends are never long enough.
